Good Pizza was founded by Ben Berman, a graduate student at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. When the pandemic hit Philadelphia in March of 2020, Ben had a big batch of pizza dough that he was planning to make for a get together with friends. After realizing that large gatherings probably weren't the best idea, Ben needed a plan to get rid of all that dough...
And that's how Good Pizza was born!
Philabundance was one of those organizations, and a valuable partnership in fighting hunger began.

Philabundance was founded with the simple belief that no one should go hungry while healthy food goes to waste.

Philabundance community kitchen
The Philabundance Community Kitchen (PCK) is a 16-week culinary vocational training program that has been transforming the lives of women and men with low-to-no income since 2000.
Our mission
At Philabundance, we work to combat hunger by providing people in our nine-county service area with the healthy and culturally appropriate food that they need to thrive.
Like Philabundance, Good Pizza is an initiative that is also committed to helping our neighbors in need who experience food insecurity and hunger.

Our community Kitchen makes 20 Good Pizza's each week. Sign up for a chance to receive a pizza. When there's a drawing open, it will be on the page below.
STEP 2. SCHEDULE YOUR PICKUP
If you're chosen as a winner we'll send you an email with the details for delivery or pickup and donation information.
STEP 3. EAT!
On delivery day (Wednesday) your pizza is made and boxed, be on the look out for your Good Pizza Philabundance delivery!
